NOW YOU CAN-Introducing the new SIDEWINDER® automatic knife from the creative mind of renowned knife designer Blackie Collins, and Benchmark Knives, Ltd.®.

The SIDEWINDER® utilizes the latest in computer enhanced design and precision manufacturing to give you the smoothest automatic knife ever developed.

An innovative CNC machined Phosphor Bronze bushing/drive wheel and 17-4ph stainless extension spring power the 3.25" 440-C stainless modified stiletto blade, which has a Rockwell of 58. Blackie’s patent pending multi-strand cable assembly transfers the "rocket wire" spring’s power to the razor sharp blade and does away with troublesome conventional torsion springs. This completely new approach allows the SIDEWINDER® blade to achieve full, reliable power through its entire "firing stroke" and greatly reduces the likelihood of spring failure.

The stainless button lock assembly is Swiss-turned to close tolerances for a tight, reliable lock up that will last for thousands of openings. The SIDEWINDER’S 4" handle was scientifically shaped to be ergonomically comfortable. The lightly textured frame is precisely molded of GV6H, a Swiss thermoplastic alloy that contains 60% fiberglass for incredible toughness and is far stronger than many of the inferior plastics used in today’s market. The SIDEWINDER® comes complete with a removable pocket clip that fastens through the bolstered lanyard hole. The unique lanyard assembly, protected as a proprietary design, provides exceptional strength, handle rigidity and helps guarantee that the SIDEWINDER® will remain in service for the long haul. The SIDEWINDER® will be available with a plain or 40% serrated blade and also in manual versions.
